Opposites attract in this conventional but refreshingly unpredictable romantic comedy. New York nightclub designer (Matthew Perry, from television's Friends) is in Las Vegas to supervise the construction of a new project when he meets a fiery Mexican beauty (Salma Hayek). It's lust at first sight, and their one-night stand takes an unexpected turn when she shows up three months later to announce that she's pregnant. They're determined to do right for each other, so they get married in a Vegas chapel with an Elvis impersonator as their witness. Then comes the hard part--trying to figure out if they're actually compatible. The plot complications are mostly familiar, but Perry and Hayek throw some bright sparks as their initial bliss turns to more realistic concerns for family and future. Fools Rush In
This is a fun romantic comedy movie, in which two people from totally different cultures meet, have a one-night stand, and the woman ends up pregnant. The story revolves around this couple's relationship and the challenges they face, as the expected due date of their child nears. I had this movie in the VHS version when it was first sold, and liked it so much, I recently (and finally) purchased the movie in DVD version.
Rating:  - what a disapointment
I received my dvd and not only was the cover slashed, but the disc had a slash in it so deep that it only played 10 minutes and then froze. I tried repeatedly to "trick" the disc into working, but it was a complete waste.

On the surface this looks like just another superficial formulatic Hollywood movie, and while that is true, Matthew Perry and Salma Hyek really make it work well. This movie rises above all expectations. When she finds herself pregnancy after a one-night stand, and they decide to be together despite the odds, they have so many issues to overcome. I love this movie. I can't even count how many times I have watched this movie on tv. So I decided that it was time to own it. I was very so happy with the condition of the dvd and how fast it arrived at my home.
If your in the mood for a feel good movie, go for this one! A+ seller

Been hunting in NZ around many different shops trying to find this DVD, its my favourite romantic DVD. Searching Amazon was the best thing, cause I found it and it was a good price. Thanks Amazon.
