Amazon.com: Actor Kiefer Sutherland makes his directorial debut with this ho-hum film about a threadbare subject: a drug heist that goes badly, resulting in the bad guys having to kidnap two people and the ensuing complications. A fine cast assures good performances all around, but it's hard to go down this narrative road for the umpteenth time in the '90s. One bonus is the presence of Kim Dickens, an interesting actress who started becoming more visible in movies in 1997 and 1998 (Zero Effect, Great Expectations). The DVD release has optional full-screen and widescreen presentations, optional French and Spanish soundtracks and subtitles, and theatrical trailer. --Tom Keogh

Rating: - Fair price, good service
I have been looking for this DVD for a long time and was unable to find it. I am very pleased.
Rating: - Fabulous Kiefer
For anyone who likes Kiefer Sutherland this movie is a must to own. I was not only impressed with his character but equally impressed with his dirceting of this film. Actually, I feel this is one the best rolls I have seen him perform.

The movie itself doesn't always work though just to see the always great Kiefer Sutherland as "Curtis" let loose in a wild, drug-fueled dance to Foghat's Cheteau Lafitte '59 Boogie would make it worth viewing. Fortunatly Kiefer delivers more than just a dance. Though Curtis is a sociopath, you can't help but like him ... Read More
Rating: - Cut this Movie Some Slack
Kiefer Sutherland (TV's "24") made his directorial debut with this crime film starring Vincent Gallo ('Buffalo 66' & 'The Brown Bunny'), Kim Dickens ('Palookaville' & 'Hollow Man'), Sutherland, Martin Sheen ('Apocalypse Now'), and Kevin Pollak ('The Whole Nine Yards'). The only reason I found out about this movie was because it starred Gallo (who wrote & directed Buffalo 66, one of my favorite movies) and he's a pretty good and underrated actor. In this film, Gallo plays Raymond; a petty ... Read More
