Rating: - karate or barney video
bought this video so my child would practice at home and found it to be a waste of money. It was more like a Barney video than a karate video. Save your money.
Rating: - Deceived
Very little time is spent on actually teaching children about karate. It appeared to me that most of the tape concentrated on occultic use of crystals. My children will not be exposed to this "flop".
Rating: - Not enough Karate
Based on the two previous reviews, I purchased this video for my nearly 7 year old. Rating: - Dawn Barne's Karate Kids
My six year old son loved learning the Karate moves and I loved the emphasis the Teacher placed on respect for both the martial arts and for other people. I certainly recommend this as a first video for children wanting to learn Karate movements who have not yet entered a Dojo.

Dawn Barnes' instruction is not only easy enough for my six year old to understand and follow, but she balances the fun workout with a magical journey inside that helped my eight year old and her old mom realize that karate is more than just a physical experience. It can help us mentally and spiritually as well. With a great group of regular kids that aren't trying too hard to be ... Read More
