Editorial Review:

Product Description:
Ingrid Bergman and Humphrey Bogart made entertainment history in this legendary masterpiece about a man who helps his long lost love escape the Nazis. The film earned three Academy Awards(R) including Best Picture.

Amazon.com essential video:
A truly perfect movie, the 1942 Casablanca still wows viewers today, and for good reason. Its unique story of a love triangle set against terribly high stakes in the war against a monster is sophisticated instead of outlandish, intriguing instead of garish. Humphrey Bogart plays the allegedly apolitical club owner in unoccupied French territory that is nevertheless crawling with Nazis; Ingrid Bergman is the lover who mysteriously deserted him in Paris; and Paul Heinreid is her heroic, slightly bewildered husband. Claude Rains, Sydney Greenstreet, Peter Lorre, and Conrad Veidt are among what may be the best supporting cast in the history of Hollywood films. This is certainly among the most spirited and ennobling movies ever made. --Tom Keogh

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great movie, no subtitles
I bought this so I can watch this classic along with my family (they don't speak English), but when I got I found it did not have subtitles, still I kept it for myself!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Simply the best movie I've ever seen
There's nothing I can add to the reviews here other than to say I've seen "Casablanca" at least forty times. If all goes according to plan, I'll see it at least another forty times before I fade to black.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - thanks!!!!
Your service was prompt and the product was as ordered.
Thanks robertkitch13

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Casablanca Best Movie Ever
I've watched and re-watched this movie at least 25 times. Bogart and Bergman were the a perfect couple that were not meant to be, making this deeply political film portrayed in a love story set in Casablanca truly amazing, beautiful, wonderful. Has to be watched in the black and white version to get the full effect. AAA+ 5 stars, highly recommended.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Of all the gin joints! .....
As good if not better than the first time we saw it - the quality of the digital transfer is wonderful, and the sound excellent. Thank you
