Editorial Review:
Description: Meet Jesse (Ashton Kutcher, TV's 'That '70's Show') and Chester (Seann William Scott, American Pie), two dimwitted yet lovable party animals who wake up one morning with a burning question: Dude, Where's My Car? Their only clues are a matchbook cover from Kitty Kat strip club an a year's supply of pudding in the fridge. As they retrace their steps, these dudes are in for the ride of their lives, encountering hot alien chicks, dodging killer ostriches, and trying to score 'special treats' from their ticked-off twin girlfriends. It's an outrageously sweeeeeet comedy adventure that's 'totally entertaining all the way through... totally!'
Amazon.com: Sometimes, stupidity is its own reward. Dude, Where's My Car? is one of the most ridiculous movies ever made--so ridiculous, and so thoroughly cheerful about being ridiculous, that it's thoroughly entertaining. Jesse and Chester (Ashton Kutcher and Seann William Scott) wake up one morning with absolutely no memory of the night before, but they're confident they must have had a good time. An irate phone call from their girlfriends quickly makes it clear that they may have had too much of a good time, and will be branded as sucky boyfriends unless they set things right. The boys set out to get the anniversary gifts they have for the girls in Jesse's car... only Jesse's car seems to be missing. Which of course leads our heroes on a quest, during which they encounter a pot-smoking dog, khaki-wearing cultists, hot chicks from outer space, a cameo by Fabio, and a herd of wild ostriches. Dude, Where's My Car? lacks the depth of character you might find in, say, a Bill & Ted movie, but the dialogue has an amazing spareness to it that gives it a kind of metaphysical splendor--if absurdist playwright Samuel Beckett had written ludicrous babe & stoner movies, he would have written Dude, Where's My Car? Also featuring a cameo by Andy Dick and more babes in bikinis than you can count. --Bret Fetzer

Rating: - dude, where's the comedy
I saw this had 4 1/2 stars and i just had to bring it down a peg. This movie blows more than a prostitute. Don't waste your time or money. Beleive me!
Rating: - One of the dumbest movies ever made but a fun comedy
On a Friday night b4 I turned 21 a few years when I just felt like staying at home I rented this DVD and found out it's actually a funny flick. The plot revoles around two dudes trying to find their car and some other stuff. Seann William Scott steals the movie as always and he should have had top billing. Anyway just rent this flick and watch with the fellas and have some fun but be warned it's very very stuipd.
Rating: - You just don't get it
This is simply a fantastic comedy. It's brilliance is so well-disguised by an outlandish plot, that many people just don't get it. If you can't pick up on the subtleties of this movie, you are simply missing the point. I'll say this, you will either love this movie or hate it. I won't call those who hate it idiots, but I do shake my head at them.
Rating: - A fun, silly movie experience!
We all need a pick-me-up sometimes. This movie is like that.
"Dude, Where's My Car?" is the most ridiculous movie I've ever seen. But that's why it's named "Dude, Where's My Car?" instead of, uh, "A unique humble introspective into the lives of two dudes". What you see is what you get. Sweeeet!
You need not think thoroughly as you watch, because the plot is simply laid out for you. The one-liners are redundant, and like everything else in this film, and hilarious when you ... Read More
Rating: - If garbage grew up! This is what it would be!
I'm not even going to take too much time describing this movie. Because this trash doesn't really deserve too much time. Watching it or reviewing it! There is no real plot. The dialogue and script could possibly be beyond childish. The story about the dude missin' his car is annoying. What happened towards the end made no sense whatsover. I just got done watching this with my friend right now. And he says it shouldn't be taken serious because its like a "stupid, funny movie". What ever the f*** thats ... Read More
