Editorial Review:

Amazon.com essential video:
This Disney masterpiece from 1940 will hold up forever precisely because it doesn't restrain or temper the most elemental emotions and themes germane to its story. Based on the Collodi tale about a wooden puppet who wants to become a real boy, Pinocchio is among the most magical, mythical, and frightening films to come from the studio in its long history. A number of scenes make permanent impressions on young minds (just ask Steven Spielberg, who quoted the film more than once in Close Encounters of the Third Kind), and the songs ('When You Wish upon a Star') can't be beat. --Tom Keogh

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Haven't received my merchandise
I ordered my DVD several weeks ago and am still waiting for it. The estimated time of arrival indicated November 3 at the latest. I also contacted the vendor, but have not received any reply. I am very unhappy at this point.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great Service
Great customer service and shipping was quick product in great condition. Love the movie. thanks.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - pinocchio
disney movies are always good. But in my opinon only the old classics like pinocchio, mouse detective etc. are truly worth watching. Not the junk they have put out in the last 20 yrs.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - This was a fake
Don't believe the item was authentic. Then when I contacted the vendor to return I never got a response. This was a gift and not only was I embarrassed I lost my money. This will make me hesitant to order from another vendor.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Nothing like a little wooden boy
For the past two years I've searched the stores looking for a copy of Pinoccio, and never found one.
why didn't I just go to Amazon in the first place and I would have had the movie years ago. I wanted my grandchildren to hear the story of Pinocchio and learn the lesson of what happens when you tell a fib. My nose is small to this day, thanks to the lesson I learned from Walt Disney and his wonderful wood boy.
