Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Lawrence Fishborne is the star!!
Lawrence Fishborne is the star in this movie, even thought the star is suppose to be the basketball player (who was an actual NBA star at that time) Lawrence steals the show. He did a great job. I would watch over and over.

The only diff being the man did it ... Read More

The movie was excellent. The best thing I liked about my purchase was that I got it in less than a week. I was able to give it to my mother who has found Amazon to be a great place to buy all the old movies she use to watch as a child.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Compelling
Great movie for the entire family. Lots of good moral and character lessons on this flick. It's not about race. It's about doing the right thing and standing up for the truth.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Cornbread Earl and Me
Way back then, when I was a child growing up in Guyana, South America, I saw this movie on big screen. It touched an entire audience that night and I am happy to have seen it on Amazon.com. I am now lucky to be able to buy it because I have often thought about this movie, about the nice kid whom everyone called Cornbread. I remember both him and his basketball which was replaced that fatal day with a bottle of soda pop when he was shot. I can never forget this story, because it is indelibly encraved ...
