Being a long time fan of Dark Shadows it is hard to just say one word to describe it. DS is not something that just passed by in the wind, it actually catches the most utter nerve of attention possible. To say the least, Dark Shadows is not the best put together television show, but it's history, story and actors bring Barnabas Collins alive in the best way possible, and twist the imagination of the early years.

Rating: - Maggie Evans is fighting for her life...
In this collection we have Maggie Evans trying to escape from the basement of the Old House, a young ghost playing ball, a costume party in which Victoria is put into a trance, and we start to find out the secrets of many of the characters, from Elizabeth Collins Stoddard to Barnabas Collins himself. Includes interviews and is really worth the money, new or used. Vampire fans has to have this in their library.

The first season was good - but the second season is even better. The storyline is more involved and the introduction of Grayson Hall as Dr. Julia Hoffman is a major plus. She is a classic actress and plays the role of Maggie's mysterious doctor brilliantly. Though Maggie Evans is still a key player in the second season, the show doesn't revolve around her as much, (which is good as her screaming and whining get a bit irritating), and the other characters' roles are better defined.
