A Rumor of Angels is a great family movie that holds your interest from the start. Wonderful cast compliments the film and the location makes you want to live there.

This is a great movie about a young boy James who is trying to cope with his mother's death when he was younger in a car accident. He meets Maddie played by Vanessa Redgrave whom he forms a friendship with. She has had a loss of her own and through their relationship they I think heal each other and form a lasting bond. This is a wonderful movie. You will laugh, cry, and laugh/cry at the same time. It is one I can watch over and over! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

40 year old guy here. I cried like a ninny through about 80% of this movie. That tops Schindler's List for me ... AND I'M JEWISH!

What a surprising little film this was. I went into it knowing nothing about it other than that it features the winsome Catherine McCormack, with whom I am infatuated beyond all reason, and came out of it realizing I'd been hopelessly maipulated, and didn't care a whit.
