Description:
Sunni (Kari Wuhrer, TV’s 'Anaconda,' 'Higher Learning,' TV’s 'Sliders') is a beautiful singer with an attitude, and is about to record her first album. Deacon (Peter Outerbridge, 'Mission to Mars,' TV’s 'Millenium'), is an ex-tycoon producer whose popularity has gone downhill and who thinks he can make it big again with this young sex kitten. He tries everything to turn her tin ear into gold, but she just can't carry a tune. Drowning his sorrows at a karaoke bar, he stumbles upon a young housewife (Gail O’Grady, TV’s 'American Dreams,' 'NYPD Blue,' 'China Beach) who is more at home in the kitchen than behind a microphone, but has an amazing voice. He convinces her to lend her voice to what she believes is a demo tape. Her voice is dubbed over Sunni's entire album which ultimately hits the top of the charts. The fans go wild and demand a live concert. Will the two women meet? How will Deacon handle the scam he has pulled? Will the fans get the live concert they crave?

This is a very special movie I know it was definately not a high price production but a true comedy. Kari and Gail did wonderfully.

This is a very well acted and humorous movie I liked it very much. Rating: - A really cool movie.
Yeah, it's a B movie, but there are some wonderful things to point out. It was originally released on VH1 as "Out of Sync". I happened to catch it and all the cliche'd characters and catchy songs totally got me into it. Gail O' Grady is absolutely hot and her son in the movie (who's actually in the now defunct band, Serial Joe) reminds me of when I was young trying to find direction in music. Rating: - One Great and Interesting movie!!!
I liked this movie--good plot, good acting and Kuri Wuhrer nude--what else do you need? She doesn't have a voice and she plays the part of one stupid singer who can't sing rather well--but she is good at it. The other actors are good also, especially the one with the voice--she is one good singer and she is beautiful. The plot is great and easy to follow. This is one B movie to watch!!!!

As per the previous reviewer's inquiry as to who the singer in this movie was...it was (an actress herself) someone named "Karen Le Blanc". As far as I can tell there is no available soundtrack for this movie. Hope this helps......A very well done movie appreciated as I am a musician myself. Very good songs too.
