Product Description:
They were the perfect family. That's what made them the perfect target. Five years after a wealthy California family is brutally murdered a struggling writer moves into their abandoned home. When he attempts to revive their ghosts for his novel he resurrects their killer as well. Dylan McDermott (TV's 'The Practice') stars as the young writer who will do anything for a chance at success. Sharon Stone (Gloria Basic Instinct) is his ice goddess agent and lover. Tom Sizemore (Black Hawk Down) is the enigmatic stranger who terrifies McDermott by revealing to him what it's like on the other side of murder.System Requirements:Running Time: 103 Min.Format: DVD MOVIE Genre: DRAMA Rating: R UPC: 043396066885 Manufacturer No: 06688

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Sizemore Steals It
I think Tom Sizemore holds the pinnacle of this flick. I have seen him in other films, but he is my new favourite actor because of his performance in this movie. He embodies this man Eddie. I've seen better from Dylan McDermott, and I probably shouldn't even comment on Sharon Stone's 'acting' (you know, that character she does for e v e r y - s i n g l e - o n e of her roles . . . herself, yawn). Anyway, I was very drawn into the movie to watch more of Sizemore's acting.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Very entertaining...
Filled with suspense, this movie kept me entertained until the very end. Great story, not for those who want romance or car chases.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - SNOOZING DOGS INDEED
What a shame to have two excellent performances wasted on a script that doesn't go anywhere. Dylan McDermott gives an excellent performance as a writer who isn't going anywhere. Fate decrees he's to "live" in a house he's supposed to be selling, a house which was the scene of a brutal mass murder. Enter Tom Sizemore, equally impressive, as a strange, neurotic young man who claims to be the manager of a local grocery store. McDermott and Sizemore strike up a tenuous relationship, and as the movie ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Would have benifited from more Sharon Stone
All in all the movie was an interesting thriller, but they didn't pursue the relationship between Dylan McDermitt's character and Sharon Stone's character at all- and that was all that really interested me. The end was a little forced I thought, but it was definately creepy/
