Rating: - Outstanding Selection
This is the best version of Carmina Burana I have ever seen. I saw it on a local PBS station and have been trying to find it ever since. I was delighted to discover it.
Rating: - A must have!

Rating: - What a Masterpiece?
The opening theme `O Fortuna' of 'C A R M I N A B U R A N A' is possibly one of the best dramatic pieces of music ever composed and performed. This DVD as a whole is nearly perfect with the exception of video quality which is a bit low. Highly recommended.
Rating: - Carmina
I love the Carmina Burana and this is a pretty good representation of it. I did not care for the Beethoven production. I am not sure that a video of the concert is necessary. While it is interesting to see the interaction of the musicians, singers and conductor I am not sure that I would order this version again.
Rating: - an extraordinary sonic experience
This is a great performance. The tempos are crisp and the diction clear. the DTS version produces a great auditory stage == better than PCMs or CDs. The Beethoven ninth -- paired with the Carmina Burana is also nicely done.
