Editorial Review:
Amazon.com: In Bush Family Fortunes: The Best Democracy Money Can Buy, journalist Greg Palast argues persuasively that George W. Bush was allowed into the Air National Guard ahead of other applicants due to his political connections; paints a damning portrait of how over 90,000 Florida voters, predominantly black, were prevented from voting in the 2000 election; discusses the number of government contracts handed out to large corporate donors to Bush's campaign--and that's just the first half-hour. Palast doesn't have the cinematic savvy of Michael Moore, but Bush Family Fortunes acts as a valuable corollary to Fahrenheit 9/11, exploring certain facets of the same argument--specifically, that the Bush family is detrimentally tied to both the Saudi Arabian ruling elite and the American oil industry, with whom they trade influence and money for mutual benefit. Palast's investigations will stir the blood of any Democrat and may raise doubts in some Republicans. -- Bret Fetzer

Rating: - This Truth Will WAKE YOU UP!!!
This is a MUST SEE. It's especially a MUST GIVE to all those "sheep" that now make up about 95% of our voting population. It's so unfortunate that people vote on the most persuasive commercials--be they lies or not... This is a QUALITY DOCUMENTARY that exposes a corrupt group of people that we voted for, that offers a strong indication that 9/11 happened BECAUSE of the Bushes "sleeping with the enemy."... To all those who lie to make people hate the great journalist Michael Moore, tell the victims ... Read More
Rating: - Are we voters or victims?
If you want a clue why other countries hate us, this is for you. As informative as it is depressing, we are reminded it is not who gets the votes-IT'S WHO COUNTS THE VOTES!

All I have to say is:These people are what's in charge of our past , present, and future. May God help us all.
Rating: - "Fahrenheit 9/11" for grownups
I was rather skeptical when I dropped this DVD into the ol' player last night. I looked from the packaging like a trashy agitprop documentary, so I was surprised at the professionalism and the relatively calm, matter of fact way that the creators made their point.
In particular, the detailed account of supposedly how black voters were kept from voting in Florida in the 2000 election. I had certainly heard these accusations before, but nothing concrete to back them up. Here, there is the ... Read More

1-Hour DVD, subjective analysis editorializing one man's view of the Bush family and their political ties, real and imagined. This Oliver Stone- wannabe-ish production lacks the polish and panache of Stone or even of notorious far-left Bush-basher, Michael Moore, both in production quality and investigative content..assuming that one buys what Moore is also peddling. Extreme liberals will love this and accept it as fact, sensible people will disregard most of it and accept the rest as American politics ... Read More
