Rating:  - French and Saunders -- if you want to laugh
"On the Rocks" includes the funniest movie spoof ever done -- F&S doing "The Making of the Filming of the Making of Titanic".
Rating: - never laughed so hard all year!
These women are great! I love their comedy. They have something we don't get much in America-quality.This is a spoof of the popular culture movie Titanic mixed in with skits that are either of their own creation, or a spoof of other shows and popular culture. Hilarious - these women ARE geniuses!

If you are a French and Saunders fan, you have to get this DVD. As usual, the writing is fresh, the outlook of each character is unique and hilarious. I'm a huge Saunders fan, so in my book, there's not much she does that I can find fault with.

This review applies to every single French and Saunders DVD. These women are genious. Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French have the ability to make you laugh out loud until you cry. They're like the Lucy and Ethel of our generation, and I live in America! They poke and make fun of famous movies, models, commercials, themselves. They are hilarious! Rating:  - Worth it for the 1988 Christmas Special
This DVD features 15 sketches from French & Saunders, and the 1988 and 2002 Christmas specials.
The sketches are OK, but do not represent the best of French & Saunders.
The 2002 Christmas special will probably not appeal to those who are not familiar with British TV. The opening scene is a parody of BBC One's on-sceen identity and the special continues with lots of references to British TV.
