Description:
Two people find themselves in the midst of the worst tragedy imaginable..the family is diagnosed with AIDS. No couple ever tried harder to have children than Roxy and Vinnie Ventola. For four years they endured test, injections and even a miscarriage. Then, Miranda, a beautiful baby girl, is born. Their daughter becomes the center of their lives. Roxy and Vinnie soon learn the truth - Miranda has AIDS. They, too have AIDS from the transfusion Roxy received after her miscarriage.The Ventolas begin their battle against this killer disease. A moving, real life drama. The story of the Ventolas is one of the best dramas I've seen in quite awile. It gets a little heavy at the end but, not sappy. The Ventolas make you really think about whats really imprortant in life and how to cope with an impossible situaton. Also, an excellent answer to the religious community who say the secular media can't or won't make a film about faith in God. Vinnie 's faith is demonstrated beautifully whithout getting preachy. I saw this movie about 10 years ago on cable, and i could not stop crying. It was amazing. I have never forgotten it and am so glad it is now available on DVD. Watch this movie!
