Rating: - Even worse than parts 1-5!!!!!...!
Haha. That's just a joke. There is only part 6. That was supposed to be a joke too. Now you don't know about this movie because there was actually a cover-up initiated by The Cos himself because he was so embarrassed about it!
After you sit through the painful, hand drawn credit-sequence you get to watch the only part of the film worth watching! This is extremely handy because you now no longer have to watch the rest of the movie. They were nice enough to put the funniest parts of the ... Read More
Rating: - UNFUNNY IS JUST A OVERSTATEMENT
First off, yes it's true Bill Cosby denounce his own film he actually wrote and produced. That gives every right for critics to bash this film. Yes, Leonard Part 6 have some over the top silly moments and have a ridiculous plot that clearly don't need to be taken serious like killer animals that kill at the command of "quelish". Even though it's considered the worst movie it has a great soundtrack. Yes, it's cheesiest at it's best, but there's scenes in the film that work like the restaruant scene where ... Read More
Rating: - Underrated, not even his favorite, but a fun watch.
Ok, so what if "Leonard, Part 6" was not one of Cosby's best efforts? At least it was fun to watch even if it wasn't funny all the way through. Cos himself, realizing he was making a mistake, denounced the film, even accepted the razzies he won for it and even bought the TV rights so it wouldn't be seen on TV. It's just one of those cult films like The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Shock Treatment, Mommie Dearest and Attack of The Killer Tomatoes, it's so bad that it's good. I just happen to be one of those ... Read More
Rating: - Leonard a hit!
Finally it's released on DVD!! I have been waiting for a long time for this movie. I originally heard about LEONARD PART 6 when I was a kid. My dad had video-taped Christmas specials for me and my sister, videos that we still enjoy to this day. Well, my dad has never known how to use a remote, so it caught all the commercials, as well, including a trailer for LEONARD PART 6. I remember seeing the trailer and thinking how cheesy it sounded, and wanting to see it. I finally got my chnace 2 years ago, at a clearance ... Read More
Rating: - Cosby as James Bond- Brilliant!
In this overlooked gem, Bill Cosby plays a suave and sophisticated secret agent. He does this so well, that you forget that he is the lovable Dr. Huxtable from The Cosby Show. This is acting. Tom Courtenay, a fine British actor (The Dresser, Dr. Zhivago) plays Leonard's faithful manservant in an understated and well-reasoned performance. I don't see why so many choose to flame this fine film. I doubt they even viewed it. I saw it when it came out (I was one of the few lucky ones) and I am so delighted to own it on ... Read More
