Editorial Review:

Amazon.com:
Despite an abundance of gaping plot holes, White Noise serves up enough spooky atmosphere to make it worth a look-see for fans of supernatural thrillers. Even when hampered with a shoddy, clumsily written screenplay, Michael Keaton brings professional conviction to his role as a grieving widower who is introduced to the mysterious (and according to paranormal researchers, highly documented) existence of EVP, or Electronic Voice Phenomenon, which allows the dead to communicate (one-way only, it seems) from the great beyond, through images and voices recordable on a variety of electronic media such as VCRs, computers, etc. Seeking contact with his recently deceased wife, Keaton finds dire warnings of evil in the afterlife, with connections (all too convenient) to killings and disappearances in his Vancouver, British Columbia vicinity. British TV director Geoffrey Sax brings slick style to this hokum, and a few moments of genuine eeriness, but you may find yourself giggling too much to appreciate the highlights. --Jeff Shannon

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Enjoyable and informative
I found this DVD to be very enjoyable. It kept my attention during the entire movie. I also enjoyed the documentaries included which told about what EVP and white noise are and was able to hear real EVP's. I especially liked the 2nd one that showed a couple taking EVP's at an haunted house. I give this movie 5 stars!!!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - White Noise
Horribly bad movie. It's About dead people who communicate through 'evp' voice recognition. Michael Keaton plays a man who lost his wife and encounters an evp guy who thinks his wife is trying to communicate with him through the phone. the tv, etc.

He starts getting premonitions of people who are about to be murdered. The ending made no sense whatsoever and had these corny looking computurized demons coming down from the sky. If You actually beleive in this stuff you may like it but ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - This movie makes NO NOISE AT ALL
There's no scary or suspenseful scene in the whole movie. It's a waste of time and money.

The mist (2007), the Grudge, 28 days later, Cabin Fever, Black Sheep (realeased on DVD in 2007) and Slither are the only movies on my list of Best Horror movies of all time.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Completely different from the first movie
My wife watched it and said it was more about the occult and it gave her nightmares. She said she shouldn't have watched it and that it didn't relate to the first movie at all.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Scary ,Entertaining!
I loved this movie.Just when you think you know where it's going it takes another road. The thing is you hear so many true accounts of contact with the other side on talk shows and cable programs and this hits home.I'd highly recommend this.
