Episode Four: The ghost of Sarah Collins leads Victoria to her diary. An evil apparition of Angelique-nemesis from the past-begins to haunt Barnabas. DISC 2 - Episode Five: Learning of Barnabas' affection for Victoria, a jealous Dr. Hoffman decides to sabotage the progress of the cure for Barnabas. This is a 1991 revival of the 60's soap opera, "Dark Shadows". This is not a retooled series like "Battlestar Galactica". The new "Dark Shadows" stays faithful to the series. Some characters, however, have been merged into one player. The special effects are better(I could have sworn they had a plastic bat for old times sake, though). Fans will like the faithful and enhanced reproduction of the Collinwood sets.

My father got me hooked on the original Dark Shadows when I was a kid. This is the same story but with different people and the special effects are amazing. They have updated this to really bring the scary, and mysterious story to life.

I am enjoying Dark Shadows The Revival - The Complete Series. I only wish the Revival series would have lasted longer on the air than just a few episodes. As expected, the story starts from the beginning with Victoria Winters' arrival in Collinsport. There are some new characters, and some of the old characters now have different jobs/interests/relationships than they did in the Original series.
