I saw this when I was 9, and I didn't quite understand this, now 10 years later, I realize how terrible this was. The song, "Crown on my Head" was just as lame (I need the song uploaded so I can "bask" in its lameness). I could've expected better from the director of such films as Arena, Demonic Toys, Seedpeople. I give this a 1/10.
I wouldn't mind seeing this on MST3K, but now that it's canceled, maybe The Film Crew or Joel Hodgson's upcoming Cinematic Titanic or even RiffTrax could ... Read More
Rating: - The Nature of Kings
The Midas Touch is a pretty good movie, if you have a sense of adventure and the patience for watching a film played out by kids. It was interesting to see how one choice, however good in nature, affected the outcome of several lives. That's sort of the point of the movie, you get to see how other lives are affected by your actions.
