This brown cover Bible Collection includes the 6 following dvds: ABRAHAM, DAVID,JACOB,JOSEPH, MOSES, SAMSON and DELILAH.
I usually don't write reviews as a critical writer but, I thought it was important to convey the greatness of this collection for Bible study-along side of your Bible. Rating: - Well worth the purchase!
I purchased these movies for my husband. He wanted something that would help him visualize the stories in the Bible. We watch them with Bible in hand so I can point out what is biblical and what is "artistic liberty". I am pleased to see that these movies stay very close to the biblical accounts. I am very pleased with this purchase!

Rating: - Bible characters made human
David is my favuorite bible character, flawed human who loves the Lord dearly. The producers' despite the budget constraints did a good job. It's good to see bible characters brought to life even with the dramatic license in some scenes. Bathsheba seems to have ended up as David's favourite wife and only 3 wives are mentioned tho I believe he had 8 wives. I look foward to watching Solomon DVD.
Rating: - Scripture based movie collection stays close to the scripture account
I teach the Old Testament to a group of high school students every morning at 6:30 am. I used these movies to give them a visual idea of what it might be like to have lived in those days. This series stays very close to the actual scriptural accounts, e.g., Aaron speakes for Moses, because Moses is slow of speach.
