Editorial Review:
Sony: Creature Comforts is a brilliant and hilarious clay animation series about the lives of animals as told by the animals themselves. Interviews with these lovable claymation creatures leave no stone unturned, no tree unclimbed, no sea uncrossed in the quest to discover what our fine-finned, furred and feathered friends really think about the issues that are closest to their hearts. It’s a 'mockumentary' like none you’ve ever seen, and it could only come from Nick Park and the untamed minds at Aardman Animation.

Rating: - annoying repetition
We were eager to see the British version after enjoying the American so much. We found that each segment was quite short; preceded by an long irritating cartoon intro and followed by the complete list of everybody who'd ever worked on it. After eight or nine repetitions of these sets everyone was bored with watching the CD and we turned it off. General consensus was that the segments weren't as funny as the American version, making sitting through the intro/credits simply not worth it.
Rating: - A bit long and same same
I purchased this along with the American version and found the American version to be more on the adult side as for content. This British version is somewhat long and boring, (ie. I went to sleep). It doesn't contain as much adult content as the American version. It starts out very entertaining, the cockney accent is somewhat hard to understand at times. But if I were you, I'd get the American version, you won't be disapointed.
Rating: - Creature Comforts Applause
My spouse and I are still laughing! Everyone we know wants to borrow the DVDs. Great stuff and I hope they keep producing more.
Rating: - The Most Fun I've Had Watching TV In Quite A While
I've long been a fan of Nick Park and Aardman but had not heard about Creature Comforts until I happened to see an episode last week on Animal Planet. It was hilarious and so right on. I think what I saw was Creature Comforts America (Being released May 8, 2008 on DVD) because some of the characters were perfect American stereotypes.
Anyway, I immediately ordered the first and second British season and started watching them last night. The other reviews here are right and about all I ... Read More
Rating: - Creature Comforts rock.
Creature Comforts is a remarkably well-done animation. There are moments that are laugh-out-loud, and the interviews have lots of random things happening in the background that you'll want to rewind and re-watch. It's more than worth it.
