Product Description:
English Subtitles Included. From the times, when time itself was a newborn baby, the universe has kept one secret carefully camouflaged within its folds. A secret, which if unraveled, could unlock the destruction of mankind and the entire cosmos. Today, only one man can protect the universe's precious secret and thus, save the human race from absolute annihilation. He is Drona. Rooted in the vibrant tapestry of Indian mythology, Drona is the compelling modern tale of one man's spectacular voyage through the labyrinths of mystic myths and legendary legacies. It is a journey that will force him to face his fears and make him the hero he was born to become. As good and evil clash in this contemporary fantasy fable, a breathtaking journey beckons you into a world of mythic heroes and malicious magicians, of cunning curses and absolute innocence. A world, where spells can turn live-flesh into cold stone. A world, whose whispers lay closely guarded in a land of mirages. A world thriving with thrills, a world of mystical magic, a world where adrenalin bursts out into a riot of colours. A world of audacious adventures and of fantastic folklores. The world of Drona!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - An attempt at something different & creative but missed the mark
This is a very different movie for Bollywood. It is an attempt to do myth and fantasy in a stylistic way. As much as anything the soundtrack and many of the sets let it down.
There are a couple of strong tunes when there are songs but in between the background mood track has odd ideosynchratic sounds and doesnt build a mood effectively. It cuts the ground out from under potentially powerful moments by having odd tinkles rather than a rousing buid in sound.
The opening number has a jazz ... Read More

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Drona: An unusual sci-fi masala
Combining pieces of all sorts of different mythologies and fantasy stories, Goldie Behl's "Drona" never really comes together as a whole. Abhishek Bachchan is out of his depth in an action hero role, but Priyanka Chopra lights up the screen as his trusty bodyguard. Although "Drona" is by no means a great film, it does have some great moments that save it from total failure. Kay Kay Menon's demon is pretty hilarious and it is always nice to see Jaya Bachchan on screen - even as somebody's mummy (yet ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Don't Wait for it and Don't waste your money if you do
Let's be honest here and say that Abishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra are two of the lousiest actors to have come out of Bollywood. I rented this film from an Indian video store and I am sorry I wasted $3.00 on it. I wish I could get my money back. Please save your money and look elsewhere. Not only is the dialogue stupid, but the scenes are choppy, the actors CAN'T act and the story makes absolutely no bloody sense. It starts out in modern day somewhere in Europe and ends up somewhere in la la land. ... Read More
