Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Eddie Izzard - Circle
Hilarious. Eddie Izzard is a very clever, intelligent comedian. Not a lot of cursing.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Very nice, but not quite up to the standards he set for himself...
Eddie Izzard is my favorite comedian by far and just about everything out of the mans mouth gets at least a chuckle from me. Though if you are new to Izzard I reccomend buying any of his other DvD's first, as this dosn't quite live up to his other preformances (Though I have not seen Unrepetable or Sexie yet so I can't say anything about them). That said, if you own all the other Eddie DvD's or simply must hear the Star Wars bit this is still a very fine performance that got quite a few laughs out of me.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Impressed On the Whole
I first watched the last 15 minutes of this show on BBC America. The whole Death Star and Vader bit was/IS incredibly funny and priceless. Then it aired again right after Dress to Kill; which I adore to no end.

When I finally watched Circle, I have to say I didn't find it as laugh out loud till your sides ache, but it was still so new to me and very inventive that it still made me laugh.

But what I really, really love about him is the miming, his expressions while he does it, and the energy he puts into his work. Even if I don't necessarily like what he is going on about or I just don't really find it funny, he is so expressive, and so animated that I look over whatever it is he's saying and I still laugh. If you even just watch him closely you will get a good laugh.

Another aspect that I enjoy is that his shows, from what I have seen (Dress to Kill, Circle, and most recently Glorious), they have a lot of cussing, but they are typically very clean. He goes on about history, religion, bees, jam, etc...I am really impressed with his ability to get an honest laugh without being disgusting.

This kind of lacked the same energy of Dress to Kill and Glorious, but it is still one of the funniest things I have seen in a long, long time. My opinion is, if you one: have a brain, two: like British humor at all or Monty Python, and three: love to laugh, you will like this. Especially if you have seen his comedy before and you know what it is about.

Watch and enjoy!

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - It's Eddie
What can I say, it's Eddie Izzard. I still like Dress to Kill much, much better. But it's still "Eddie" funny and you can't beat that with a stick !!!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - A Little Disappointing
Having come to love Eddie through "Glorious" & "Dress to Kill", this one does not live up to the standard he's set. A few obvious edits as well as the performance made it a bit disjointed. That said, it's still Eddie & there is some wonderfully irreverant comedy to be found. Worth the addition to a complete Eddie library, but not the show to introduce Eddie to newcomers.
