Rating: - Fun Stuff
No matter what you think of the guy, he was funny and creative.
This stuff works for kids and adults.
Rating: - Pee Wee II as good as the first
My son watches these over and over. Not sure why. I like them, and the content often has double-meanings for the entertainment of adults, but there's just something in the atmosphere of this show, the details, the energy, that please him to no end. These five discs include the last two years or so of the PW Herman Show, the format of which kept changing, but never the spirit. Pee Wee II is slicker and more complex, but it's as good as the first five-disc set, maybe better.
Rating: - Excellent!
I got the two seasons of PeeWee's Playhouse in PERFECT condition and more quickly than I expected. Thank you!
Rating: - not for everyone
not everyone can appreciate Pee Wees humor. At least there
are a few seasons available for his fans.If Hollywood
blacklisted everyone with minor offenses as Paul Reubens
the Oscars and Academy awards would be for puppets.
Rating: - hmmm.... playhousey!! ha ha!
Classic Pee Wee! With all the choices on TV, Cable and Dish today, my kids (6 & 8) just love to watch these shows! They'll choose Pee Wee over Bratz! It's great to see Lawrence Fishburn in some corney outfits as Cowboy Curtis. There's also guest appearances by Sandra Bernhard and Jimmy Smitts in other episodes. I haven't seen 'em all yet, so I'm sure there are other special guests!
So, come on in and pull yourself up a chair ~ like Chairy! Let the fun begin, it's time to let down your hair!
