Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - On My Top Ten List Of Favorite Shows I've ever seen
Great Show. I may be a kid right know writing this review but the title I said is true. I just recently bought this on sale for getting $60.00 selling my old Genesis on ebaY, and also bought Invader Zim Complete Invasion but I'll right a review along with what ever else I buy. Well I'll give you a brief description of my two favorite episodes on this set.

Faked My Own Death-Earl is making up for something he did before he learned about Karma. He was at a biker party at the bar where he met a girl he ended up "dating". When he woke up at her house he finds out she is a sweet, innocent, craft making, hiking, boyfriend obsessed woman. and after a month of knowing each other they take a pic with her parents and it says our family. So of course he thought it was getting to serious, so he faked his own death.

Stole Beer From A Golfer-Earl has to put up with a golfer he took advantage of to get free beer by having him think he kept getting hole-in-ones. That made him obsessed with golf which lost him his job, dog, and girlfriend. This all takes place at a time when a fair that Randy loves and only Earl can take him but Earl is neglecting him.

As for the others each case for the DVD's has abrief description for each episode. This set comes with 4discs in a regular DVD case with 24episodes, A Bad Karma Short, commentary on selected episodes, Deleted scenes, and more.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Too Corny Earl
I purchased the Earl first season for my son's 15th birthday. He loves this comedy series and watches them all the time. Now he wants the 2nd season. I would recommend this videos to the younger genre but they are really not for me. Most of the time, it's pretty clean entertainment.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - It's unique, gotta give it that
4.5 stars

The first few episodes of Earl are purty dang funny, and the rest of the season is solid. The premise is simple, the characters clearly defined (and in the case of Joy, impeccably portrayed), and let's face it, any network tv show about karma gets an extra star for that alone.
We laughed a lot while watching this first season. I'd recommend it if you enjoy ironic comedy and a healthy dose of dumbassness. There are many moments of real hilarity.
The second season falls into all the usual traps, though, so this may be as good as this show gets.
Head and shoulders above normal tv sitcoms...but then that's not saying much.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Funny!!!!
"My name is Earl" Season 1, is the start of a great sitcom, that falls into the same catagory as the old "All in the Family","Sanford & Son" "The Jeffersons","Good Times" etc.
Gut hurting laugh out loud comedy.
Awesome.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Funniest Show on TV
Greg Garcia has created one of the funniest shows EVER. I don't watch much network TV but I was intrigued by the commercial so I tuned in and got hooked.
Jason Lee plays Earl Hickey. Earl was supposed to be named Carl but someone makes curly "C's" so the person who filled out the birth certificate thought his name was Earl.
Earl was a troublemaker along with his younger brother Randy. He bought a winning lottery ticket and was immediately hit by a car. While in the hospital he heard about "karma", something he believes Carson Daly invented. After leaving the hospital he found the lottery ticket. He moved into a hotel with Randy and decided he was going to start making right all of the things he had done wrong. He wrote them down on a list.
Every episode of Season One Earl crosses one thing off of his list.
If you haven't seen this show, you should. I guarantee you will be laughing!
