Rating:  - Good Time
I loved this movie. One of the great things about gay comedies is that even if the writing or acting is bad, you can't tell because it's designed to be cheesy, cliche, and over-the-top. This movie funny and inappropriate in all the right ways.
Rating:  - really riduculous and Not even worth a laugh!
I thought this film was interesting because i can see it appears everywhere online; nevertheless, it was really boring and ridiculous and superficial; after seeing the first 20 minutes, i tried to surf through the movie and then turned it off. Not was even worth a laugh!
Rating: - Obnoxiously Hilarious!
All of the obnoxious stereotypes and ignorances of young gay conquests are brought together in one film that will have you holding your sides. This is a great film for those looking for nothing more than entertainment with laughter. It might even be embarrasing when you see one of YOUR awkward experiences.
Rating:  - Airheads get laid!
I guess it really is a measure of just how far gay cinema has come when a film like "Another Gay Movie" can get a fair amount of theater play and sell heavily on DVD. I mean, this is a totally over-the-top, overacted, gross-out and incorrect movie that makes "American Pie" look like Henry VIII. If you have ever seen any straight movie where the over-hormomic teens make a goal about betting laid before the end of summer, just substitute gay kids for the straight ones and you have the basics of AGM.
What really will irk the PC crowd (and even made me squirm a bit) was that no topic was off limits. I flinched at the following; Gerbil Joke, Nambla joke and Belgian Chocolate joke. As someone who went through the late 80's having to shout down idiots who kept that Gerbil Joke alive (and it cost a Philadelphia Newsman his job because a variant of the story got pinned on him), I fail to see the humor. On the other hand, the amount of corn this movie lays on makes it almost impossible not to start snickering, even when the humor is lowest common denominator juvenilia. Yes, gay movies can now make the same stupid fart jokes that show up in bad Eddie Murphy flicks. Like I said, maybe that's progress.
Then again, maybe it ain't so bad after all. Better that young gay people see something like this as an entry into Gay Cinema than the bitter "Boys In The Band" (my entry into gay movies, a film I credit for pushing me into another four years of denial), or the tragic cinema that has produced classics like Philadelphia or even Brokeback Mountain. My partner's gay daughters watched this with us and they thought it was a scream. Which lead me to another pair of observations:
Crikey. I'm getting old.
"Another Gay Movie" is really for kids.
And a gay flick that targets young people coming of age? Not bad, not bad at all. As Nancy Sinatra sings in the opening credits, "it's a gay sunshine day."
Rating: - The gay version of American Pie
I purchased this movie not knowing anything about it because Amazon offered it with another film I wanted for a farily cheap price. And I am so glad that purchased it. This is what American Pie would be if all the characters were gay... with quiche. Four frineds set out during their last free summer before college to loose thir anal virginity urged on by one larger than life Lesbien named Muffler. The guys run the gambit of some uniquely funny gay sexual situations and frustrations. From the first time that you had and enema before sex, daddy bears, bubble butts, poppers, bondage, and penis angst, just to name a few. You'll notice that the movie is not rated, but I would guess that it would be an NC17 due to a few scenes of male full frontal nudity. Overall, I would defeintly recommned this movie.. I'm still laughing and saying WTF.
